With God's Word as our highest priority, our mission is to make disciples by creating a fun, loving, and interactive environment where kids are encouraged to grow in Christ. We provide volunteers who emphasize love, classrooms that are clean and orderly, procedures that are safe, and an age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum. During our Calvary Kids services, we emphasize  important Biblical truths through scripture, worship, videos, and even down to the games. Your children will leave having heard the gospel every single week!

Our Parking/Traffic Control Team serves on Sunday mornings to ensure vehicles flow in and out of the parking lot as smoothly as possible. Volunteers direct arriving attendees and visitors to parking spots on our campus, or in designated off-site parking areas, and assist in ensuring a safe departure for everyone following the services. The minimum age is 18. Our Usher team serves on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to welcome attendees and visitors into the Sanctuary and help them find seats. This ministry serves alongside our Communion preparation volunteers to serve Communion monthly to our congregation. Volunteers serving in Communion preparation serve once a month on a Sunday and once a month on a Wednesday to prepare the Communion elements. We need additional ushers, and greeters to assist with seating, answer
questions and provide information about Riverview . We also have opportunities to help with traffic and guests in the parking lots. If you have a passion to connect with others and would like to serve in these areas. – Pre-requisite – Volunteers must have attended Riverview consecutively for at least three months and consider this your church home. Making others feel loved and welcomed is one of our top priorities. We desire to make our church a warm and welcoming environment. Join this team and serve the church through the greeting team, welcome center, or host team. Our Guest Services Team serves on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at special events throughout the year to greet and welcome attendees and visitors to our church and answer any questions they might have.

Our mission is to see middle schoolers come to a complete knowledge of Jesus, united together in love as the church, and encouraged in their hearts in the midst of discouragement. We hope to offer a place where middle school students belong. Middle school can often be a time of change, pressure, and exclusion as everyone is trying to figure out who they are. The Good News is that we have an incredible message of Love, Inclusion, and Belonging from God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to model and experience God’s love through studying His Word together, having fun together, making good memories together, and being a welcoming place of love for everyone who attends. Our mission is to see High Schoolers come to a real and personal relationship with Jesus. We encourage and challenge students to love and serve the church, their community, and the world.

Riverview strongly believes that our church is directed by the will of God through the Holy Spirit; and that prayer is basic and necessary to remain in communion with Jesus Christ. The RCC Prayer Ministry provides our fellowship with an organized means for corporate prayer – We meet between the end of the first and before the start of the second morning services on Sundays, and also before the start of the mid-week service on Wednesday evenings. All are welcome to participate on a regular basis for intercessory prayer (prayer for others) and/or ‘drop in’ personal prayer requests as you are led by the Spirit. Prayer requests can also be posted at any time to the Prayer thread of the RCC App, and will be added to the Ministry team’s prayer list. Volunteers must have attended Riverview consecutively for at least three months and consider this your church home.Our pre-service prayer is led by a pastor and open to anyone who would like to serve the church by praying before our Sunday services. Join us in the Ministry Room at 7:30 am each Sunday. No sign-up required.

Our Safety volunteers serve on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at events throughout the month to provide a safe atmosphere for all of our attendees and visitors. This ministry offers adults who regularly work in, or are retired from, law enforcement, government, military, security, and medical professions an opportunity to use their skills to respond to emergency security or medical needs within the church.

Our Facilities volunteers serve on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at special events throughout the year to provide a clean facility and assist with set up and tear down needs. This ministry provides an opportunity for teens and adults to use their physical abilities and/or handyman skills to serve the body of Christ. We need faithful servants that would like to assist our team in setting up the church for services, tear down after services as well as assisting in cleaning each week. If we have enough people able to serve in this area, then we can provide a rotating schedule making it easier on the team. Volunteers must have attended Riverview consecutively for at least three months and consider this your church home.

Supports the church services through projection, video and recording/duplicating audio. Our audio/video volunteers serve Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at events throughout the month to provide audio, lyrics, broadcast video, and lighting for Church services. This ministry provides an opportunity for teens and adults to use their technical gifts to serve the body of Christ. Previous experience is preferred but not required for all positions. Training is provided, but an aptitude/ability for learning new technology is beneficial. Serving in this ministry currently requires a bimonthly commitment.It takes a great volunteer team of sound, lighting, and video technicians working together to produce our worship services and support the many ministry events throughout the week at Riverview.

We need additional faithful servants! We can train you to operate the soundboard, run video equipment, use presentation software, and other operational items. Volunteers must have attended Riverview consecutively for at least three months and consider this your church home. If you have an interest and aptitude in these areas, please contact us about current volunteer opportunities.

Our Worship Ministry volunteers serve on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and at our Nights of Worship using their vocal or musical gifts to serve and lead the body in worship to the Lord. After applications, applicants will be audited. The Bible teaches us that as believers we worship our Lord in many different ways and functions. Presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, thanksgiving and praise and serving one another are all examples of worship.
 
The music ministry at Calvary SD is another expression of our worship, and our teams provide the opportunity to glorify God and pursue His presence. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned musician there are many opportunities throughout the church to get involved and to grow in your gifting.
